The passenger ship „Samaria“ took homeless fugitives from Cuxhaven to Halifax in Canada after the war. Sixty years later Das Letzte Kleinod told the stories of the emigrants at the original sites: German and Canadian actors performed the play “Samaria” on the quay of the Steubenhoeft Cuxhaven and on pier 21 in Halifax.
