World Premiere: 03th of August 2019 in Senftenberg
Theodor Fontane was arrested by the French in 1870 on suspicion of hostile espionage and deported to the fortress of the Atlantic island of Oléron. A play about his experiences in the Franco-German War was rehearsed at original locations. The performance Souvenir 1870 went on a tour with a theatre train to train stations in three federal states. The project took place within the framework of the 11th Theatre Days of the Landesverband Ost of the Deutscher Bühnenverein in co-production with the Staatstheater Cottbus, Hans-Otto-Theater, Kleist Forum Frankfurt (Oder), nB Senftenberg and the Theater Das Letzte Kleinod.
