At the German North Sea coast people tell the legend of the sailor Hinrich Meyer. He is told to have been shipwrecked near Tonga, a small island in the Southern Pacific ocean, and to have married the daughter of a chief and thus was crowned the King of Tonga. Using 16 blue steel barrels, theatre collective Das Letzte Kleinod produced a performance with about the North Sea’s longing for the South Seas.
